Attending Hearings and Children’s Convenor Meetings from 22 March 2021

Now that we have moved to Stage 3 of exit from lockdown we have returned to holding face to face Hearings and Convenor Meetings at our office at Briarwood.

Things will however look and feel a bit different for a while as we all do our bit to prevent the spread of infection in the Bailiwick.

We have removed all toys, books and leaflets from the waiting rooms so you may wish to bring a book or magazine with you.

We will ask you to sanitise your hands on arrival.  We have plenty of sanitiser available in our reception area, Hearing room and waiting rooms.

Depending on the number of people attending the Hearing or Convenor Meeting we may be wearing a face covering and we may ask you to wear a face covering too.  We have disposable ones in case you forget to bring one.  Although face coverings are not mandatory the wearing of face coverings in enclosed spaces is recommended by Public Health.

We have made arrangements in our waiting rooms and Hearing room so that you can socially distance if you wish to.

If you, or anyone coming with you, has a confirmed or a possible COVID-19 infection or have any of the COVID -19 symptoms you should not come to Briarwood.  Please contact our office on 223290 or email [email protected] as soon as possible so that we can discuss with you alternative options for you to take part.

As we know from the experience of the last year, the situation can change quickly and if we need to make any changes to the arrangements for your Hearing or Convenor Meeting, we will contact you directly by phone or email.
